For the scheduling at the Nautique WWA Event, there are many different qualifying categories beginning the competition. Thursday at the start of the event, there will mostly just be semi-qualifier rounds, LCQ Rounds, and basic qualifying rounds. Friday is going to bring another round of qualifying events, in the categories of Novice Wakeboard, Intermediate Wakeboard, Advanced Wakeboard, Pro Wakeskate, and Pro Wakeboard. After those qualifiers are done on Friday from 8am to 1:30pm, there will be a rider meeting for the Featured performances. Within the category of Featured performances, there are Groms, Boys, Open Women, Jr. Men, Open Men, Masters, Pro Women, and Pro Men. Saturday and Sunday will bring semi and final rounds for all of the aforementioned categories of competitors at the 2016 Nautique WWA event.

The heat scheduling for the Nautique event is going to be fairly standard practice, giving each competitor a relatively brief amount of time to pull off some impressive lines and hopefully advance in the competition. The way the heats will be set up is by having 1 turn and 1 pick up, giving riders a sufficient yet not excessive amount of time and space to make their move. IN LCQ Rounds however, there will only be 1 turn and no pick-ups in the round, giving riders even less time to make something happen out on the water. With an effective mixture of features and qualifying rounds, the 2016 Nautique WWA Event is sure to be an exciting time for competitors and spectators alike.

Another important detail pertaining to the progression of the competition is the existence of Wild Card Tricks that are not going to be permitted in all rounds and days of the competition. Wild Card tricks will not be allowed on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday of the competition. It is only upon the arrival of Sunday and the final rounds being hosted on that day, that we will begin to see some Wild Card Tricks, but they will be almost exclusively in the Traditional Final event.
